Tribals from  the district have no occupation. They mainly depend on seasonal crops and large number of tribal go out of District in off season for earning  their livelihood. Having limited industrial development of the District, tribal  population face difficulty in getting  an employment without any technical knowledge. With a view to improve their living condition, a technical training institution has been started. Government of Gujarat has given permission to this training institution from August, 2002. Trades like computer, cutting and sewing, wireman, motor rewinding are being taught to socially backward children who have failed in 10th standard and have discontinued their study. After completion of their training, they will be able to procure employment in industrial establishment of the District. Against a sanctioned limit of 16, 23 students are getting training in wireman's course. Due to paucity of funds, the desired development has not taken place so far.
